# Install from the terminal

For a machine where installation from the Designless app is not possible.

## Use the app when you can

The install card in the Designless app is the usual route. These commands are an alternative for machines where that route is not possible. They use git; on a Mac without Apple's command line developer tools, macOS asks to install them first.
